ZOO ADVENTURE, PART 1

So, last Friday (the 26th), Aaron and I went to the zoo for his anthropology class. Thankfully, as of a few days ago, I now have a laptop (my dad's old squad car laptop, which is from 2008 but works really well!) and can edit the 900+ pictures I took of the various animals (I am ashamed of how many photos I took, really). I downloaded a free version of photoshop from my college database and now can edit pictures... although I'm still rusty with this newer version of photoshop.

Anyway, Aaron and I went to the zoo and had a blast! I have a bajillion pictures, but I'll just do a general outfit overview today and get into the animals next time!

Hanging with this tortoise statue.
When we walked up, there was a group of kids sitting on it
as their mom was getting a picture.
I wanted to get a picture on its back, too...
unfortunately, I'm not a monkey-child like those kids apparently were.
I almost smashed my face on its shell.

Oh well.

Pretty flowers blooming by the otter exhibit!
Couldn't resist -- first flowers of the year (as far as I've seen).

Dress: Rue21; Shirt: Target; Necklace: Hand-me-down; Earrings: Cactus Flower; Headband: Modcloth

Anyway, the visit was loads of fun!
I haven't been to a zoo in a while --
so I've missed walking around and seeing the animals!

How long has it been since you've been to a zoo?
A few months? A few years? The Jurassic period?

(Look forward to some animals pictures in the next post!)

  1. I haven't been to the zoo in years, but this makes me want to go again! It's so fun seeing extraordinary animals! Love your earrings!
